Bright is one of 4 children and lives with his mother and father, who are farmers and earn very little. The family currently are sleeping on the ground and their house is unfinished.

He has recently graduated from primary school and is attending a nearby secondary school until The Roof of Africa is able to build its own.

Bright is lucky to have a school sponsor, which means he can continue his education.
